When I came across the application to demolish 162-164 High Street, I
visited the site and found the number 164 on a front door. I assumed
that this building was to be demolished. Now I have received this
clarification, and am relieved to hear the news:
David, I have read in your blog and now in the minutes, of the demolition of 162-164 High Street. In fact, both these properties are remaining, and the demolition is of the Lockhill Factory behind these premises, which shares the same postal address. The McCarthy Stone development will be accessed via the car park off Cranhill Road. Hope this clarifies the situation. Catherine Monday, January 24
