There's a full planning application to build six houses in a garden on Portway near Petvin Close. The site is more or less where the arrow points here.

The buildings are to be in reconstituted stone, brick and render, so not traditional Street building materials. There are many traditional lias buildings between there and Somerton Road, so it would be nice to have the local materials. Two of the houses would be fronting onto the road, so the building material would be particularly important for them. The elevations don't seem particularly appealing.
