I have no idea what it is like living in this cottage, but it is certainly picturesque, standing as it does at the entrance to Overleigh, with the allotments opposite.

Whenever I hear a motorist complain about how hard it is to drive out from Overleigh proper into the main road (also called Overleigh) that continues Ivythorn Road, I tell them that I hope that this junction will remain hard. The day that cars find it easy to drive through Overleigh, and the day walkers have to scurry out of the way, will be a sad day for Overleigh. Overleigh was not designed for cars. Cars and their drivers should continue to feel that they are there on sufferance, and should be very slow and very, very careful.

Let people come first.
