Strode Musical Theatre Society performed 'Trial by Jury' by Gilbert and Sullivan in the Parish Church this evening. It's a long time since I was rehearsal pianist for my school production and got to know that work very well. I think I was 13 years old at the time. It was great to hear a lively performance tonight.

The second half of the evening (Trial by Jury was written as half an evening's entertainment) was taken up with songs from individual choir members and the whole choir. As one would expect, these were almost all songs from the shows, and good entertainment they were.
