It just so happens that this evening there's too much music to enjoy.

In the Strode Theatre it's the last night of Oklahoma!, which a friend tells me is superb. The singer/actor playing Curly is one that my friend singled out for special praise.

Then there's a choral/orchestral concert in St John's, Glastonbury.

And certainly not least, the Somerset Youth Orchestra is giving a concert in the Cathedral with Peter Donahoe, no less, playting Rachmaninoff's 4th piano concerto.

The choice overwhelmed me, and I stayed at home. Shame! It's almost like living in London, where entertainments are on offer all the time.
